Head of the Family Department confirmed as Accredited Specialist
We are pleased to announce that Andrew Hill, our family law specialist has successfully renewed his accreditation with the Law Society Family Law Advanced panel as a recognised specialist in the fields of Financial Remedy and Private Children Law.
In order to be an accredited family law specialist, applicants must undergo a rigorous assessment process to demonstrate their expertise in their chosen field. This includes submitting two written case studies of recently conclude cases. Once accredited, members must undertake annual training and must apply for re-accreditation every five years.
Andrew has over 20 years’ experience as a family lawyer and, for most of that time has worked in Kendal. Last year he qualified as a Collaborative lawyer. He is experienced in dealing with a wide range of family-related issues including divorce, separation, cohabitation disputes, child arrangements, grand-parents’ rights, pre- and post-nuptial agreements and financial disputes including businesses, pensions, property and trusts. He has acted for clients from all backgrounds and, as a member of the Resolution, the family lawyers’ association, is committed, where possible, to resolving disputes in a non-confrontational way by agreement.
